Be part of the discussion on the future of New Mexico’s Energy Workforce.
You’re invited to join us for a Sector Strategy Convening discussing the energy workforce on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mesilla Community Center, 2251 Calle De Santiago, Mesilla, NM 88046.
This discussion will center around challenges impacting businesses and how we can work together to help guide the development of strategies that strengthen the talent pipeline.
Whether you’re overseeing crews in the field or managing workforce and training needs behind the scenes, your voice matters. This discussion is open to energy employers and industry leaders—including renewable energy developers, utility providers, oil and gas operators, contractors, industry associations, workforce training providers and educators, energy-focused nonprofit or community organizations, and others directly involved in hiring or supporting workers in the energy sector.
Hosted by America’s Job Center New Mexico and the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions, this session will focus on questions such as:
What jobs are the hardest to fill?
What barriers are you facing in hiring or keeping workers?
What kinds of support, training, or resources would make the biggest impact?
Please register for the event and let us know if you would like to attend in-person or virtually:
