SOUTHWESTERN AREA WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD

WORKFORCE INNOVATION AND OPPORTUNITY ACT

PROPOSED FOUR-YEAR PLAN MODIFICATIONS

The Southwestern Area Workforce Development Board hereby gives notice that the Board seeks public input on its proposed Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Four-Year Plan Modifications for 2024-2027. Interested individuals may submit written comments to the attention of Glory Juarez, WIOA Administrator, Southwestern Area Workforce Development Board, P.O. Box 1072, Elephant Butte, N.M., 87935, or via email to plancomments@sccog-nm.com. The proposed Four-Year Plan Modifications will be made available on August 31, 2026. Written comments must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. (MST) on September 29, 2026. 

The proposed Four-Year Plan Modifications may be accessed at www.employnm.com/local-plan or obtained from Glory Juarez at the office of the Administrative Entity of the Southwestern Area Workforce Development Board located at 2251 Calle de Santiago, Room 6, N.M. Tel.: (575) 740-2992.
