Future Readiness Night at Silver High School - October 1, 2026

America's Job Center in Silver City and Silver High School are partnering to host Future Readiness Night on Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Silver High School, 3200 N. Silver St. in Silver City, NM.

This free event is designed for high school juniors, seniors, and their parents to explore education, training, military, and career opportunities after graduation. Whether students plan to attend college, enter the workforce, enroll in a trade school, or serve in the military, Future Readiness Night will connect families with valuable information and resources to help them prepare for the future.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

• Meet with college, trade school, and military representatives.

• Receive assistance completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

• Attend workshops covering résumé writing, interview skills, scholarship opportunities, and other topics to help students prepare for life after high school.

• Connect with organizations and resources that support students as they plan their next steps.
