Virtual Town Hall - Work Search Requirements to Receive UI Benefits &
Resources Available
(Albuquerque, NM) – The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (NMDWS) is hosting a virtual town hall discussion, Thursday, May 20, 2021 in regards to work search requirements for Unemployment Insurance (UI) in New Mexico. This requirement, which had been suspended due to the COVID-19 health emergency, was reinstated for New Mexicans receiving unemployment insurance benefits on May 9, 2021. Work search is a federal requirement to receive unemployment insurance benefits.
