Bylaws

The Southwestern Area Workforce Development Board of the State of New Mexico is established in accordance with Section 107 of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014 intends for the local boards to represent a wide variety of individuals, businesses, and organizations throughout the local area. The vision for the SAWDB is to serve as a strategic leader and convener to promote effective relationships between the local Chief Elected Officials and economic, education, and workforce partners throughout the local area.
