Personal income in June 2017 was virtually unchanged. Nominal personal consumption expenditures (PCE) was unchanged while real PCE declined 0.1 percent. Nominal disposable income (DPI) rose 0.1 percent while real DPI was unchanged. The personal saving rate as a percentage of DPI was 3.8 percent in June. The PCE price index was unchanged. The core PCE price index (excluding food and energy) was up 0.1 percent.
