The Village of Magdalena is seeking applicants for the position of Village Clerk/Treasurer.  The position is eligible for benefits; salary range is $34,986/yr to $46,288/yr.

From the Bureau of Labor Statistics...

 

Total nonfarm payroll employment increased by 304,000 in January, and the unemployment rate edged up to 4.0 percent, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Job gains occurred in several industries, including leisure and hospitality, construction, health care, and transportation and warehousing.

New Mexico’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 4.7 percent in December 2018, up from 4.6 percent in November and down from 6.0 percent a year ago. The national unemployment rate in December was 3.9 percent, up from 3.7 percent in November and down from 4.1 percent in December 2017. Total nonagricultural payroll employment grew by 20,400 jobs, or 2.4 percent, between December 2017 and December 2018.
